Since Flickr has an API for developers to access, there are a few web sites that tap into it and present photos on the site in interesting ways. I’ve typically relied on FlickRiver to get a good idea of the most interesting photos (per Flickr’s criteria) for a given group, tag or user.
Today, I stumbled across one I hadn’t heard of before – Tag Galaxy. I checked it out because it showed up as a referrer on my stats. The interface allows you to build a collection of tags, represented as planets, until you filter down to the kind of photos you want to view in a world of its own.
Don’t take my word for it, though. Check it out yourself. http://taggalaxy.de/
