Sum­mer Sun

Is it Sum­mer yet? Memo­r­ial Day is over. The sec­ond trop­i­cal storm of the sea­son is wind­ing down and I still have another day of rain. I’m ready for some sun­shine. Peo­ple often say the best pho­tos are taken in the worst weather, but the mod­els I’ve been talk­ing to about shoot­ing lately want to wait until the weather isn’t “icky.” I can’t argue with that kind of logic.

Sum­mer is almost here, though. Clothes get skimpier, sand gets every­where, and I’ll be sweat­ing in all of it try­ing to get a photo. That’s OK. I’m actu­ally kind of excited to try out some dif­fer­ent por­trait con­cepts this sum­mer. Now if it will just stop rain­ing, per­haps some of my favorite mod­els will come out and play.
