I finally upgraded to Adobe Photoshop CS5 today and decided to try it out.  Sadly, I’m still running it in 32-bit mode because my NIK Software and Red Giant plugins aren’t yet capable of completely running in 64-bit mode.  We’re slowly getting there.  Aperture runs in 64-bit mode, as does my OnOne Software tools.  Although I don’t know if I’ll see that much of a difference in running 64-bit compared to 32-bit, I’m somewhat curious to give it a shot.

It’s been a while since I’ve worked with any models, but a friend posted some black & white shots of another model on Facebook today, so I was tempted to try with one of my older images that I never processed.  Rachael (the model) turns out to be a cousin of my brother’s step-daughter.  Didn’t know it at the time we were shooting, but I guess it’s a small world.  She definitely had a great attitude for a whole day of shooting and was a lot of fun.  This is one of her laid-back moments
