The Memorial Amphitheater of Arlington National Cemetery

There are just so many things to see in the D.C. area that I couldn’t get to them all. One place I really wanted to visit was Arlington National Cemetery. It’s a humbling place to visit, but it’s also full of fascinating history. Rather than thinking about all the people who died to end up there, I prefer to think of all the people who lived to end up there. After all, it’s what they did in life that we honor, particularly here at the Memorial Amphitheater.

What Every Photographer Should Know

More people are getting into photography every day. If you’re one of the folks who are getting started with photography, stop by Suburbia Press and check out my ebooks to help you get better photos and keep them organized. There’s even a free ebook for all the fans of photography planning a trip to Walt Disney World’s Magic Kingdom. I have a few upcoming travel guides and a course on HDR techniques in the pipeline.

I have a few other sites for topics that don’t always fit here, but some of you may have an interest in checking them out.

  • Aperture vs Lightroom — I get a lot search queries for Aperture vs Lightroom, so I decided to create a site dedicated to checking out features of both products. If you have questions or suggestions for a future comparison, please let me know in the comments.
  • Orlando Local — A somewhat snarky view of life in Central Florida from a native perspective. It’s a haphazard view of life and events in the Orlando area.

This was sort of a mixed bag post, but I have my fingers in a lot of pies. Looks like I may have another one coming up next week getting back into my IT roots, but I’ll have to hold off sharing any details for now. To be honest, it may not be interesting to everyone else, but it’s something that makes me happy. Life is good and I hope good things are happening for everyone reading this, too. If not, go make it happen.
