The Pulpit

The Pulpit of the Temple of Sinewava at Zion National Park

Zion National Park is a huge place, but I think many people only see a few miles along the drive at the southern end. This is the Pulpit in the Temple of Sinewava. If you’re driving, it’s the end of the road — and a spectacular place to stop. Towering cliffs encircle you, giving you a feeling you’ve reached the end of the Earth. If you want to understand the insignificance of man, this is a good place to contemplate it.
