Welcome to Chalmun's Spaceport Cantina, or as most people know it, Mos Eisley Cantina.

“Mos Eisley spaceport: You will never find a more wretched hive of scum and villainy. We must be cautious.”- Obi-Wan Kenobi

Personally, I think they look more cute than wretched. Perhaps that's why it's wise to be cautious in this place. You may think this was another photo taken at Star Wars Celebration VI in Orlando, but that's actually last night in Las Vegas during the Photoshop World Meetup at EyeCandy Bar inside of Mandalay Bay.  Hey, I figure a desert bar is a desert bar. They always attract some strange exotic characters. You know the kind of folks at Photoshop World – a few photographers, a drunken vendor in the back, the tripod police and a Russian hooker wondering why these guys only want to take her picture.

I kid. This was actually taken on Tattooine. You can tell because the floor of the Mos Eisley Cantina in no way resembles the typical concrete floor of the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, FL. It's an optical illusion if you think otherwise. This is how things look in a galaxy far, far away. It wasn't that long ago, either.

The biggest problem with the Mos Eisley Cantina has to be the furnishings. Look at those stools. Not even a backrest. I'm OK with seeing tiny tables in a bar. You just need enough space to hold your drink. However, there's nothing comfortable about those stools. I don't care what species you are, that's gotta hurt. Some big-assed aliens are only going to get half a cheek on those things. I've been on racing motorcycles that had more comfortable seats than those stools.  It's a shanda!

William, did you just win something at the keynote for Photoshop World? People in the chat were suddenly mentioning your name right after someone pulled my attention away (was watching the live stream) …
